Candle Dancer
My initial idea was to create a dancer figure that embodies Indonesian culture, stories and soul. This concept aims to introduce West Sumatran culture to the international tourism scene.
ZBrush, Maya, Substance, Marmoset Toolbag.
To execute this project, I started by modeling a semi-realistic 3D dancer, including the body, clothing, and hat, using ZBrush. Then i transferred the models to Maya for retopology to ensure a clean structure for effective texturing. For this, I utilized Substance Painter, allowing me to create realistic fabric textures for clothing and a shimmering gold hue. I crafted patterns with a modified flower-shaped alpha brush and performed the initial and final rendering in Marmoset Toolbag.
